Phil Testa was admitted to practice in 2002 after completing a double degree in Arts and Law at Adelaide University. He has considerable experience in general legal practice and has worked at firms including Lipson Street Chambers, Di Rosa Lawyers, Paul Alvaro & Co and Websters Lawyers. Phil has also worked at Allianz SA – CTP managing claims involving major and catastrophic injury. He practices in all areas specialising in Civil Litigation, Family Law, Estate Planning and Personal Injury Law. He was a member of the Law Society’s Accident and Compensation Committee for numerous years. Over the years, Phil has successfully handled large and complex matters involving personal injury (Common Law, Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents) and general Civil Litigation. He has also developed a keen interest in all aspects of Family Law. Phil is a member of the Legal Services Commission General Panel. Phil is a Barrister and Solicitor admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of S.A. and the High Court of Australia. Phil is a member of both the Law Society of South Australia and the Law Council of Australia (Family Law Section).
Lauraine Evans was admitted to practice in 2005 after completing a degree in Law at The University of New England. She was a Police Officer for over twenty years and worked as a prosecutor for eleven. She then joined Websters Lawyers practicing in numerous areas with a focus on Criminal Law. Lauraine practices in all areas specialising in all facets of Criminal Law, Traffic Law and Estate Planning. She has worked on numerous high profile cases over the years. She is a member of both the Law Society’s Criminal Law Committee and The Football Federation of South Australia’s Disciplinary Tribunal. Lauraine is a member of the Legal Services Commission General Panel and Complex Criminal Law Panel. Lauraine has been an associate member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (S.A. Division). Lauraine is a Barrister and Solicitor admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of S.A. and the High Court of Australia. Lauraine is a member of the Law Society of South Australia.
Phil and Lauraine established Evans Testa Barristers and Solicitors in October 2013. Their common goal is to be accessible and approachable whilst providing their clients with the best possible representation at an affordable price.
